Welcome Back Yuvraj Singh.

Welcome Back Yuvraj Singh.

The biggest news for cricket fans in all over India is ” YUVRAJ SINGH HAS MADE HIS INTERNATIONAL COMEBACK”. Finally Indian selectors rewarded Yuvraj for his consistent domestic form. Though Yuvi has made a comeback in Indian t20 side, he still has to prove himself to make a comeback in 50 over format. The comeback of Yuvi is purely based on his performance in domestic circuit rather than his past reputation. This should serve as an ultimatum to all those discarded seniors who are eyeing for a comeback in their side. Only performances can give you a chance to revive your international career.
Making a comeback in your national side is even more difficult and challenging than making your debut. When you make your debut, you are considered as fresh talent. Even if you fail , your captain and your selection committee back you. Your failures are accepted patiently. You are provided with plentiful opportunities to showcase your talent and make a name for yourself in international cricketing arena. But comeback asks you something different. You have to reinvent, reinforce and reinstate yourself and sometimes reincarnate. You have to compete with not only your contemporaries but also with fresh talents, some of them who have made theirs name and others who are trying hard to do so. Selectors are also under pressure and suddenly you find yourself out side the side if expectations are not met. Once after making a comeback, you lose your place, it becomes virtually impossible to be in the squad. We hope this doesn’t happen with Yuvi. May he performs well enough in a format which is tailor made
for him. We could see the same old Yuvi who decimated spearhead of english fast bowling, who not only battled cancer but also conquered it. We will be fortunate to witness the blazing avatar of veteran Yuvi. Welcome back Yuvi, the 22 yards pitch is waiting for you.
