HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: UFC STIPE MIOCIC Ne Dho Dala JUNIOR DOS SANTOS
The champion Stipe Miocic was on a roll, but one thing which was not in control of this 6 feet 1 inches, 34-year-old in terms of past, but could be balanced in his CV was reversing the result of the 6 feet 4 inches 33-year-old man who made him bit dust through unanimous decision last time they came face to face couple of years ago, So when they again crossed swords, the champion like a phoenix rose and slew his conqueror JUNIOR DOSE SANTOS in 2 minutes 22 seconds by TKO (Total Knockout).
The octagon (where the humans are caged to conquer and destroy, but not like some ex-box office SULTAN who made it a mockery of a sorts, you can’t fight after max 43 years age because that’s the way it is after a certain age, not even HERCULES) is a very place, as it’s like a chameleon where one who looks down can make spectators look like a clown, same thing happened here, as the champ looked, Shin, hurt from ferocious Kicks by Santos but suddenly things turned and the junior was made to realise who the senior was .
That Santos went into a retreat after few seconds of kicking and felt like sorry I hurt you, I am at your service now was baffling, but that’s what happens in a ring, all the hours of torturous practice comes to nothing.
Sport can be cruel but also can make you realize how deceptive is mind in co-ordination with eyes or plain simple fixing (oops just joking it’s not IPL).
As of now the most dangerous man on the planet, pound to pound battle getting more intense with STIPE MIOCIC also joining the contender’s list, makes this year all the more interesting and slick.

STRAWWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – (WOMEN)
This category is seeing a legend in the making in terms of maximum title defenses and who but the one and only 5 feet 6 inches 115 pounds JOAN JEDRZEJCZYK
Ok if that was tough pronounced than ask her opponents what’s it’s like to face her in real? She was on a 5 match title defense streak and made it 6, thus taking her to 2nd overall in all categories across all genders in the octagon.
Though her opponent JESSICA ANDRADE 5 feet 1.5 inches put up a fight and lasted the full rounds 5, but the scorecard showed who got it continues in terms of punches and right when it mattered.
WELTERWEIGHT – (MEN)
DAMIAN MIA vs JORGE MASVIDAL
The 39-year-old DAMIAN is on a roll and is creating quite an invisible types reputation of sorts winning matches after matches and almost touching double figures if can go on this for a few matches more, but most importantly the next one with TYRON WOODLEY, the current champion.
It was a unanimous decision all three judges giving 29-28 against Jorge thus giving Mia another win in addition to his 2nd most winning record in UFC history.
Featherweight – ( MEN)
Frankey Edgar vs Yair Rodriguez
The 2nd ranked Edgar frankly would never want the fight to end under doctors instructions but also more so with referees intervention even the opponent didn’t like, as he has always been a fighter, so when Yair couldn’t continue in middle of 2nd round with a swollen eye
it was unfortunate but that’s sport and that’s life.

Middleweight – (MEN)
David Branch vs Kryzstob Jotko
When two warriors come on a winning streak of 10 and 5 than fireworks are expected as none wants to go on the wrong side and experience what’s it’s like as when winning becomes a habit and suddenly you loose punctures your confidence and takes the time to get back in the same groove.
As expected it was a close fight with a dose of everything action, retreat but no one was willing to surrender and that kept it alive and kicking for the full 3 rounds.
Judges verdict – 29-28, 28-29 and 29- 28 in favor of BRANCH, thus making him further climb the tree and to be where everyone in every sphere of life wants to be.
Food for thought – Better to have 3 rounds fight than 5 in some cases because lesser the time, more aggressive and entertaining that’s what is all about in this day and age where being boring has no place.
