Its time to deconstruct the promotional capsules of Sultan, which is without any doubt rated as one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Salman Khan today means heavy bucks at the Box office. Irrespective of everything, it’ll still clock up over 200 cr such is Salman’s power and relation with eid releases. But we got to admit it there’s such things called quality and content.
Well, Here it is the Analysis of Sultan’s promotional stuffs so far. The campaign was started with a Poster of Salman Which looked very funny and I was wondering what happened with the photoshop expert of YRF as the poster was so amateur or maybe they were still in shock of Fan’s failure as the mistakes continued with couple of more stills of the film which were launched after it.
The second poster featuring Anushka Sharma not only impressed her fans but people in general too and increased the excitement for the film
In the 1st teaser of Sultan Salman completely nailed as a wrestler of Haryana, the BGM song ‘Khoon mey meri mitti’ helped big time to enhance the effect of the teaser. It looked genuinely a content driven film after the teaser release. Watch The Teaser Here.
The second teaser revealing Anushka’s character ‘Aarafa’ was a mixed bag, While She was super in it but the teaser was a frame to frame copy of Geeta Phogat’s Ad film on her life. The director who got hits in past with Mere brother ki dulhan and Gundey but was always critisized for his films quality recieved lot of flak for the teaser. Watch it here.
It finally followed up with the trailer and it began with the scenes of both the teasers and then showing the romantic scenes of Salman and Anushka. Those were good then it shows some family and social drama making Salman to leave wrestling and after many years again something compelled him to fight. It made us remember Sunny Deol’s Character in Apne and Akshay’s in recently released Brothers. The trailer created the impact that the film will be a pure eid commercial entertainer with Salman trying his level best to do something different as an actor.

The song Baby ko bass pasand hai again looked very average and ‘chaalu’ which released after it, meant specially for front seaters. But then Jag Ghoomeya made everyone happy as both the melody and Video are terrific. Salman’s expression in the song is too good while Anushka again is very natural.

With less than one month left for its release, the makers will increase the promotions as the lead cast will start appearing on TV shows, also the game of the movie got its release recently, we hope that Sultan becomes the Sultan of Box office too. YRF desperately needs a big hit as they are struggling for it from last 2 years.
