Sultan Crawls to 300 crore club, Dishoom stands at 68 crores after two weeks:

After a long struggle finally, Sultan crawled into the 300 crore club this week, it added around 2 crores in its 5th week to become the 3rd film in the history of Indian cinema to cross 300 crore mark after PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The total of Sultan after five weeks is 300.35 crores and the lifetime will end at 301 crores. The film focuses on Sultan Ali Khan, a fictional Pehlwani wrestler and former world wrestling champion from Haryana whose successful career has created a rift in his personal life.

Earlier, Sultan created a new record for Advance Bookings. On its day of release, Sultan received an average of 70% audience occupancy and netted approximately ₹36.54 crores. By the end of its second week, the film had netted an estimated ₹278 crore. Its final domestic gross was ₹421.25 crores, which is a huge number. Salman Khan has two films in the 300 crore club now which is commendable.
Dishoom

While Dishoom in its second week did nothing special and its 2 weeks total is around 68 cr nett and only added 14.66 cr in its second week and will end up at 70 crores lifetime. The film is an above-average affair and keeping the worldwide collections in mind, it is a moderate success though much more was expected from it in the 2nd week. It’ll end up earning more than 150 crores worldwide at least. The film stars John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez alongside Akshaye Khanna as the antagonist, marking his comeback to acting after a four-year break.

The detailed collections are as follows:

Sat 3.40 cr
Sun 4.35 cr
