There is a famous expression in English: When the going gets tough, the tough gets going and it is very much suitable for a boy who has a desire and is passionate about it. He knows there are a lot of obstacles and struggle but still he is hopeful despite not knowing where his destination is. Maybe his story will look very bollywoodish but it’s a fact that he worked as a waiter, became even a security guard but never broken the thread of his hope. 21 year old Deepak Kumar is the boy about whom we are talking here, he wants to be an actor and slowly has built a reputation of being the ‘Akshay Kumar of Social Media’. He shoots his videos and uploads on facebook which are liked and seen by many and somehow doing this satisfies the artist in him. He very much looks like Akshay Kumar but he want to build his own personality in the times to come.
Deepak was born on 21st February 1995 in a district of Uttar Pradesh called Chandauli, his father works in agriculture department, his elder sister Deepika is pursuing her studies in JNU, Delhi while the younger brother is in STD. 12th.
But unlike others Deepak after passing his 10th firmly decided to be an actor and the seed of it was roped in him by his friends who told him that he exactly looks like Akshay Kumar. Deepak was sent to Banaras to pursue his higher studies but instead he started to act and recite dialogues secretly in his room and after 12th he was more than sure that he has to be an actor. He started to convince his father so that he can exercise his luck and efforts to make his dream a reality. Then he came to Delhi and filled the form for graduation as a private candidate in DU, joined a theater group to nurture his acting skills and also started learning martial arts. But he couldn’t continue all this together for long as his health started to deteriorate and he quit Martial arts. For money he even worked in a call center but the results were not favorable and he had to leave it too. After completing graduation he eventually moved to Mumbai where he faced a lot of financial problems and he had to work as a waiter in weddings but when some his employers mistreated him then he left doing it and started working as a guard for a security company because in the same building the office of Anil Kapoor’s production house was there and he had hope to get some work in films.
But he faced only rejection and despite working behind the camera for some ads he never got any opportunity to come in front of it. And on one fine day he fixed a tripod camera, started shooting himself mostly on the songs and scenes of Akshay Kumar and uploaded those on the powerful social platform Facebook. People started liking him, praised him and this given him the much needed boost and satisfaction. His limited fame is a result of the hard work and struggle he has done so far, he cannot come back now to live a routine life. He now has started enjoying what he is doing and the value of satisfaction is far bigger than the material success the boy has proved it. I hope the boy becomes a film star soon and by seeing his dedication I can easily say that it is just the beginning.
