Review: LG V30 First Impressions, LG Strong With Nothing Going Wrong?
LG has decided and quite rightly that in this day and age ‘SLOW AND STEADY’ leave aside winning doesn’t land you anywhere, and so have picked up the pace and it seems results are already falling in place. So what’s new from LG with its V30 series, is it on par with other flagships and does it have the X-factor to give every high-end device kick-ass competition let’s see.
6inch DISPLAY-QUAD HD+ with a 2880×1440 with 537 PPI pixel density is the norm which most companies roll out for their flagships.
OLED screen with 18:9 ratio is a pure delight and gives you a small TV type experience. Here surprisingly the second screen is given a miss, it was pretty handy to use and had only increased the companies positivity, but maybe it was not, whatever be the reason it will be missed.
With Gorilla Glass 5 protection makes your phone safe and strong unless something big goes wrong.
7.4mm makes it an ultra-thin phone but as we always say majority put covers on their phone so slim or bulky it’s all about the covers really.
16 MP+13MP Dual Rear Camera is a treat for photo lovers and even if you are not you will become after seeing the pictures. The features like Face Detection, Panorama and HDR are the ingredients which enhance it further.
5MP Front Camera may sound less in terms of the 8s and 10s out there in most selfie experts in the market but as in end it’s about quality and not the quantity and here to the selfie lovers will not at all be disappointed as focal length system and pixel size all are very good and that what matters.
ROBUST PROCESSOR: Snapdragon 835 is what you actually expect on such devices and the company has made sure you get the best of the best to handle any type of load like gaming or multitasking with ease.
3300 mah BATTERY: On a 6-inch screen is like a kid handling a ship, seriously LG what were you thinking? Ok 6-inch screen fine but then the brightness and the Sharpness of such a high pixel phone needed a bigger battery and here you not only the culprit but many on the same boat.
Android 7.1 out of the box.
Water and Dust resistant.
Face to unlock and voice to unlock features.
4GB RAM could have been a little bit more, 6GB?
64GB internal memory expandable to 256GB (v30+ has got 128G internal memory but will it come to INDIA? Depends)
UHD VIDEOS with 2160p @30fps
QUAD DAC Hi-fi audio takes the music listening to as good as it gets.
The fingerprint scanner is at the Rear.
WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC,4G,3G all are the norms supported by it.
It has got the 3.55mm Headphone Jack, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass.
SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
PRICING: It’s here where LG may steal the show as Rs. 53000 is though expensive but not over budgeted like many others just wait and watch.
Well, first of all it came to INDIA it will not be the only competition to the throne as this is that part of the year where all the biggies are drooled out and whatever has been showcased till now the competition is looking intense yet if we look at what the other giants have in store it’s no less.
What’s going to be the real test is if the Korean giant is going to get preference in the Indian part subcontinent because in rest of the world it’s condition is not the worst in terms of sales because in terms of quality it’s always trusted but then sometimes some brands are just in the mind when people go for buying.
