Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif Starrer Big Ticket Movie Tiger Zinda Hai Releases Today, let’s find out what to expect from it.
Directed by ALI ABBAS ZAFAR is one of the most anticipated movies of this year not only for the lead superstars fans and which are many to say the least but refreshingly for others too as its a sequel to one of the better films of the SALMAN KHAN till date, EK THA TIGER. So the expectations are high and when you are the new kid on the block in terms of the particular sequel as the previous one was captained by KABIR KHAN who surprisingly refused to helm this one and from what was the unclassified truth was he didn’t like the idea of TIGER coming back but who knows the reality in today’s times?
Anyways let’s hope the director does full justice and justifies that TIGER indeed deserved to be zinda. If his past is any indication then he has the potential to be the SULTAN of Bollywood but talent has to be polished and here’s where ALI needs to work a lot because collections alone can’t be the guiding force cinematic improvement needs to evolve. How much he has achieved from his debut venture Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) needs to be seen to be believed but expectations are a lot and with a strong team of both national and international technicians at the helm everything should come out good.
Cast doesn’t need any intro as the lead chemistry is a treat and whatever acting department lacks is made up by their charismatic screen presence.
Recently SALMAN who is still shocked from the TUBELIGHT which failed to light said categorically without any inhibition straight from the heart “He will give his fans what the fans expect from him”. “SOME” may argue and take it as an insult to their sensibilities because with due respect most of his starrers are flat tyres so how do they create ruckus at the ticket window? That’s why we mentioned clearly “SOME”.
It’s a new lease for the female lead KATRINA as all said and done she is in the twilight of her career. It may seem to be a shocking statement but we firmly believe beauty is temporary and talent sustains for a longer run, and that’s where it’s the statement finds acceptance. But to her credit she is a hard worker and has improved a lot especially the diction but will we ever see full bloom transformation, is anyone’s guess.
The support cast is strong robust and will definitely make alive the proceedings so in performances hopefully kuch to surely zinda hai.
Finally, TIGER ZINDA HAI will shatter many opening records but will this 2hrs 41mins based on a real life incident with cinematic liberties a plenty, matches it’s predecessor’s brilliance only time will tell but we hope after watching it AUDIENCE ZINDA HAI and that’s half the battle won in today’s dead pan cinematic times.
