Preview: Incredibles 2 and Oceans 8 releases this week in the absence of Hindi films.

This week only 2 big Hollywood films released in the form of Incredibles 2 and Oceans 8, both films already made loads of money at the box office in the USA but let’s see how they will fare in India.

INCREDIBLES 2

DIRECTED and WRITTEN BY – BRAD BIRD

Genre – Superhero Comedy
BOX OFFICE – It is doing thumping business everywhere in America and elsewhere.
Will it work here, depends on how much money is left with parents to take their children and make it a wholesome family experience?
SHOULD YOU WATCH IT? If animation is not your cup of tea, but there is always a first and it doubles the fun when watched on big screen.

OCEANS 8

Genre – Crime and combo comedy.
Running Time – 2 hours 50 minutes
DIRECTED and CO-WRITTEN BY – GARY ROSS
CAST – Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and many others.
BOX OFFICE – With a budget of 70 million, it became a blockbuster in America already. What will be interesting to see how much moolah it earns because in India if it recovers it’s cost will be surprising for us?
SHOULD YOU WATCH IT? Want to be part of Girls having all the fun on the run, then this may be the ride you want to be part of.

Both films are likely to be seen only in big cities and hence no scope of doing big business like Avengers: Infinity War and Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom did.

Race 3 also is rejected by the audiences and now all eyes are on Rajkummar Hirani’s Sanju. We hope that it’ll be a huge hit. While, many regional films released today to engage their takers, such as Tik Tik Tik, which is definitely an ambitious attempt in Tamil cinema, along with some Punjabi films like Asees and Jatt vs Ieltis.
