Again two very anticipated Hollywood films, Disney’s Coco and 20th Century Fox Star’s Murder At The Orient Express to Clash with Hindi films Kadvi Hawa and Julie 2 this Week, let’s find out what to watch.

Murder At The Orient Express

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, who directed and acted as Victor Chervin in JACK REACHER (2014) and many more films like VALKYRE (2008) where he has shown his acting credentials along with the direction and even in his latest directorial venture he plays the main legendary HERCULE POIROT. Based on AGATHA CHRISTIE novel of the same name who may have passed away in 1976, but her writings still is as relevant or even more than many.
Besides the captain of the ship who is at the forefront, it’s got a who’s who line up of other actors be it Penelope Cruz, Jhonny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Judi Dench, William Dafoe to name a few.
Will this 114 minutes crime drama mystery do justice to the masterpiece novel is what we all are waiting with bated breath?

Coco

Directed by Lee Unkrich who was responsible for TOY STORY 3 (2010) and also co-directed FINDING NEMO (2003) and this time he is being co-assisted by Adrian Molina who has co-written this besides THE GOOD DINOSAUR (2015), this animated full of adventure and comical moments film is already creating waves and once again proving when it’s from the Disney PIXAR even the Superheroes struggle to match up as is evident at the box office.

Thank you For Your Service

Directed by Jason Hall who co-wrote and acted in AMERICAN SNIPER (2014) this 109 minutes of Biographical take on a group of soldiers from the US and finds a way to the audiences we sincerely hope.

Kadvi Hawa

Directed by Nilan M. Panda whose CV is pretty impressive and he is one director who if content  is taken into account better than many going around if I Am KALAM (2010), JALPARI The Desert Mermaid (2012) are compared to the current scenario. Even his latest  has got rave reviews at various festivals but then it’s altogether a separate thing when it comes to the box office as it can be seen with his KAUN KITNE PAANI MEIN (2015) and BABLOO HAPPY HAI (2014) as both sank without a trace.
The cast is as good as it gets purely in terms of performances be it SANJAY MISHRA, RANVEER SHOREY, RAM NARESH DIWAKAR SHRAVAN and TILOTAMA SHOME.
Hopefully, this based on global warming warms the people’s heart too and translates into collections.

Julie 2

Directed by Deepak S Shivdasani who had helmed the first part in 2004 and was a hit but surprisingly the second took more than a decade to make and after postponements got the release date.
Will this 2hrs 39minutes of thriller drama have what it takes will be known shortly?
Note – Last week release AKSAR 2 got leaked before the release, it’s unfortunate that instead of barking on what was highly questionable which happened more than 500 years ago better sense prevails and everyone concerned raise their voices against piracy which really kills.
