Summary:

Neerja is a poignant tale about understated Heroism. The film is to the point and never deviates from what it wants to depict. Ram Madhvani has directed this difficult film with aplomb. Very much eager to watch his future projects now, Screenplay by Saiwyn Quadras is very engaging, he deserves all the credit and applause for it. Cinematography of Mitesh Mirchandani is top notch, one of the finest in the recent times. Music is good, Editing by Monisha R. Baldawa is fairly good. This is a story everyone should must watch. A Brilliant Tribute To The Braveheart, Neerja Bhanot. She proved that Heroes are those who spread love and peace, who can help others in need.

Neerja is quite easily the finest film in recent times on par with ‘Talvar’ based on a true story. This film will establish Sonam Kapoor as an actor who can pull off demanding roles too. She is superb, I would say terrific in the film, Apart from one or two scenes where her expressions looked little manufactured. She is here to stay, all the supporting actors enhanced the impact of the film with their performances. But the show stopper was Shabana Azmi, a legend no doubt. Her last speech will make ur heart melt. I found tears rolling on my cheeks while watching that scene. Apart from editing I guess everything is pitch perfect in the film. Its a must watch, very honestly made movie. I’ll go with 4 stars, Bollywood is getting better and better with time.

For Jingoistic audiences – Yes, dont show your anger in the name of patriotism, save lives in need and protect the enviornment instead. This film will give a much needed calmness to every mind.
