Jagga Jasoos will finally hit the theaters this Friday.
Running Time: 161 minutes
At the last audience will Mehsoos the release of Jagga Jasoos. A long time in the making, too many reshoots, changing equations of human emotions (Star cast were the most sought after, both Professionally and on the personal front, now struggling to succeed).
Will it be a ROOP KE RAANI CHORON KA RAJA or MUGHLE AZAM purely in terms of time taken to make and ultimately the moolah it rakes?
ANURAG BASU, the man who gave RANBIR one of his best performances till date through BARFI. But this time it’s altogether a different playing field as bigger budgets are difficult to handle and every maker has their preferences on which they display their mastery and success.
Franchise sequels in thriller genre are almost non-existent or don’t get the results be it BOMKEYSH or Kahaani or any other, what has been lacking is that, makers take them too seriously thus final product is for niche, will Jagga Jasoos will break the norm and expand the highly deserved reach?
TRAILER has been impressive, looking like nothing that has been served off late on Indian plate.
Raining Songs: From what has been reported 28 songs both lip-sync and background may give a HUM APKE HAIN KAUN (sorry it is a first full Hindi musical and not song and dance by stopping the story) type feel to Indians but what makers say is that since RANBIR’S character is not able to talk properly the songs give it clarity, will it be justified and how much entertaining it comes out will be the back bone of the movie.
WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES: 140 minutes
DIRECTED BY: MATT REEVES
His CV: DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (2014)
LET ME IN (2010)
TAGLINE: For Freedom, For Family, For the Planet and GD hopes For the Audience too.
IMDb – 8.5/10
Rotten Tomatoes – 93%
Metacritic – 81%
Lots going for this APES vs HUMANS installment, the trailer has caught the eye, the cast is boosted by Woody Harrelson so all in all a tensed filled roller coaster ride is what’s to look forward to.
SHAB: 108 minutes
Directed by: ONIR (His name is as unique as title of his movies be it;
I Am (2010)
Sorry BHAI (2008)
Bas Ek Pal (2006)
My Brother Nikhil (2005)
If out of the box is to be justified, then ONIR can be your apt choice to fit that tag. He is soothing surreally shocking and sometimes gut-wrenching.
TEAM 5: 162 minutes
When politicians get away with the status of being a mass murderer and become PM or CM, why can’t a sportsman be given a chance after being banned and jailed for keeping a towel on side of his back? If society shuns then how can improvement and subsequently resurrection begin?
