Force 2 had a bad first week, box office continues to suffer.
Last week’s big release Force 2 managed to earn only 30.15 cr in seven days after a decent weekend as it dropped heavily in the weekdays which clearly showed that it was because of the content and not the cash crunch which the country is facing though there’s no denying of the fact that it did affect 20% of the collections. The movie is looking to end at 33-34 cr range in its lifetime.
The day wise break are as follows:
Fri – 6.05 cr
Sat – 6.50 cr
Sun – 7.50 cr
Mon – 2.80 cr
Tue – 2.70 cr
Wed – 2.40 cr
Thu – 2.20 cr
Total – 30.15 cr net.

Tum Bin 2, on the other hand, had a disastrous week one where it only earned around 4 cr and it is almost out from the cinemas in the second week. Rock on 2, Shivaay made around 82 crores and it is now out of cinemas while Ae Dil Hai Mushkil also is now over on 112.14 cr net in India which makes it the highest grossing Karan Johar directed movie without adjusting the inflation though he has seen massive industry hits in the past in the form of All-time blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham both starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
We’ll be back with the updates of Dear Zindagi’s first-week collections next Friday and we hope it’ll end the dry spell at the box office.
