Dishoom crossed ₹ 50 cr mark in Week 1 and is now safe at the box office for break even at least, with good growth on second Saturday it might go in the profit zone but with this Varun Dhawan continues his non-failure record at the box office as he has 100% success ratio so far with Student Of the year, ABCD2, Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, Main Tera Hero, Dilwale, Badlapur and now Dishoom all has made profits and were hits.
The first week breaks up as follows:

Sat – 12.02 cr
Sun – 14.25 cr
Mon – 4.85 cr
Tue – 4.30 cr
Wed – 3.67 cr
Thu – 3.20 cr
Total: ₹ 53.34 cr Nett.
John Abraham is still salable and with good mass subjects his films can make money at the box office too, he did it with Welcome Back without any major female lead.
In overseas Dishoom’s Week 1 total was $3 million USD [₹ 20.06 cr].
Kabaali is almost out in the north and in the south also the hysteria has ended as the film is weak.
While Sultan collected ₹ 4.43 cr in its Week 4, taking the 4-week total to ₹ 298.23 cr nett and the lifetime will end at 300 cr nett making it a huge Blockbuster.
