The last book of the stranger trilogy this one’s release was awaited by all the fans of the series. Novoneel Chakraborty is known for its dark edgy writing style and with Stranger trilogy, he has taken his writing style to another level. This book joins all the loose ends rendered by the earlier two of the series. Those who are familiar with Rivanah Bannerjee will feel satisfied as she finally meets the stranger who was bothering him since the first day she landed in Mumbai. This book in more ways than one meets the expectations of the readers as till the last chapter the identity of the stranger was kept under wraps.
The only problem with the book according to me was the revelation of the stranger. For all these years ever since the first book of the series released I and many readers I am sure would have created the idea of the stranger in question in their heads, and when they finally get to know who he actually was it leaves the readers a little disappointed not by stranger in particular but the motive for which he was following her all this while didn’t come across as pleasing. The justification by the stranger simply fell flat as the readers were expecting more.
Having talked about what didn’t go right at the end doesn’t take anything away from the riveting read this final part had been. Somehow I had more expectation from this final installment by Novoneel.
Talking about the author his writing is edgy and keeps the readers glued to the pages.I finished the entire book in one session is the testimony of how engrossing the novel is.
They say every good thing comes to an end so was this awesome book. Must read.
P.S:- I am eagerly waiting for the next books by Novoneel Chakraborty
