Birthday Special: From Being the Quintessential Chocolate Boy of Indian Cinema to the Biggest Superstar of the World, Aamir Khan Deserves Every Bit of the Success he is Getting.
From Being the Quintessential Chocolate Boy of Indian Cinema to the Biggest Superstar of the World, He deserves Every Bit of the Success he is Getting, Aamir Khan is thy name and he doesn’t require any introduction. His hard work, unmatched dedication and sheer passion for his art has given him the title of world’s biggest Superstar. And I without a doubt can say that no one is more worthy to be called as the biggest Superstar of the world than him. There was a time when Jackie Chan enjoyed this status for quite a long time, his unrivaled popularity in entire Asia, UK and USA was something nobody ever saw, all because of his action films. As we know, all these countries love action films but Aamir’s rise to Global Megastardom is an even bigger achievement than Jackie Chan’s because he is a maverick artist who never depends on any globally favored genre. He reconstructs and rebuilds himself every single time to surprise the audiences, his only drive is telling a good story. What makes him bigger than Chan at the moment is that he without a second thought is one of the best actors in the world along with a genius cinematic mind despite being a charismatic Superstar, that’s where Chan faltered. He with age is loosing his global appeal while Aamir with age is climbing ladder after ladder of success. And for the record Chan is my favorite action hero of all time, I love him too but Aamir’s versatility beats him any day. Although coincidentally his next film Thugs Of Hindustan is an action adventure which I feel will take him to a new peak of Global fame. He is the one who single-handedly has taken Indian Cinema to new heights and we all are blessed to live in the era where he is reigning the world.
I first saw Aamir Khan in his cult classic Rangeela as a 5 years old kid in the theatre and since then I am a fan, there’s no looking back for him too from that point. First, as a chocolate boy in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, he revived the nosediving Indian Cinema with soothing family romance, then his struggle to merge content and box office numbers began, now after 30 years he is numero uno and people call him the first Indian Superstar of Content. Actually, he is the first and last of his kind, I just want him to surprise us always and make us proud, he is now the most recognized face in world cinema but still, the hunger to work better than his previous is what makes him different from others. I wanted to pick the best films on his 53rd birthday but it is so difficult to choose just five of them because he has many cult classics, as his films are not merely his films but some of the best films ever made in India. A Very Happy Birthday to Mr. Legend, age for you is just a number, keep shining.
