Doing unexpectedly rapchik business, especially for the distribution society, as from Wednesday profits will start pouring in.
What’s heartening for all is that it should giving strength and belief to makers to try realistic subjects with ting of masala.
Hopefully but frankly we at GD are sceptical?, that South remakes are nearing it’s end, but whatever is tried should have quality of GAJINI which was the standard bearer.
KYA KOOL HAIN HUM 3 –
5th day collections – 4 crore approx
TOTAL INDIAN COLLECTIONS -27 crore approx
Sadly for distribution peeps it’s not what they were expecting. Kya super cool hain hum had a 32 crore 1st week, but the franchise 3rd instalment may have a life time collections around it, which was the last thing they expected.
As for makers they were in safe zone from the day they sold it on a higher price.
The question which arises is – How come distribution people most of time get it so wrong by buying stuff which can’t prolong at box office, either they are blind or buy without seeing product or trailer is their criteria for flop or hit.
