Thank god its really authentic with proven records when makers say BASED ON A TRUE STORY, because it’s become a fashion to write A TRUE INCIDENT without audience having a connect with any proof, and HOLLYWOOD is the biggest culprit who fools.
– Over 1 lakh +Indians were evacuated in a period of 2months in 1990 when war broke out in Kuwait. The then INDIAN GOVERNMENT did a fantastic job (yes sometimes they have no choice but to act) utilising it resources to the maximum, services of 500 planes to AIRLIFT their fellow citizens, thus entering GUNNIES BOOK OF RECORDS for biggest evacuation till date.
Positives for AIRLIFT –
BUDGET and BUZZ
Running time is not stretched unecessarily thus keeping it crisp and to the point again hopefully
Negatives for AIRLIFT –
Low budget sometimes leads to compromise in quality.
Competition from KKHH3 and maybe wrong release date as most movies in January just don’t convert into earnings.
Those who feel too manny AKKI releases dent the collections, I don’t agree completely, Ok maybe quality of previous may create doubts but every day is a new day, so is every movie a separate identity.
Critics total average ratings – expected to be around 3. If it’s more will be heartening, if it’s less will be very damaging.
Final expectations – Keeping in mind directors previous work frankly I don’t expect something grate, but decent and watchable.Surprise me?
Becz HOPE is a TOPE which seldom shoots over the roof top.
